Jerria Bernestine Owner
Jerria Bernestine, FNP-C, is originally from Los Angeles, CA, and has called Texas home since 2007. She graduated with her ADN from the Los Angeles County College of Nursing in 2001, advancing to a Master's in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Her clinical experience includes working in the areas of medical-surgical, telemetry, clinical observation, perioperative services, primary care, and functional medicine. The desire to provide preventive patient care drove Jerria to pursue her Master's degree. With her combined knowledge and skills, she strives to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to each of her patients.
As a nurse practitioner, Jerria continually strives to provide the best experiences and results for her patients. She’s proud to work hand-in-hand with each patient to help them improve their health and achieve optimal wellness.
Medical Director
Jordan M. Pastorek, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and treats adults for a number of chronic and acute medical conditions with an emphasis on prevention.

Dr. Pastorek graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1997 before attending LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans for medical school. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2007 after earning his Air Force Pilot rating through the Euro-Nato Joing Jet Pilot Training program (ENJJPT) at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Dr. Pastorek subsequently earned his Flight Surgeon rating at Brooks City-Base in San Antonio and has worked as a flight surgeon in the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves for almost 2 decades, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

In his civilian life, Dr. Pastorek has over a decade of experience as a hospitalist and has worked in multiple hospitals across Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, including caring for COVID patients in acute care hospitals / ICUs as well as in the office setting during the pandemic.

At IV Better, Dr. Pastorek focuses on delivering patient-centered care through innovative treatments and therapies. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal wellness through services such as IV therapy, medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, and preventive health screenings. His expertise in integrative and functional medicine allows him to address a wide range of conditions, including fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, immune support, chronic illnesses, and more. Dr. Pastorek also provides care for acute conditions like upper respiratory infections, acute pain, and gastrointestinal issues, ensuring his patients receive timely and effective treatment.
